Stagg Jr Batch 13

Stagg Jr. is a limited edition barrel proof bourbon much like the George T. Stagg version included in the Buffalo Trace Antique Collection. Buffalo Trace released the first Stagg Jr. in August 2013 and has released approximately two batches every year since. Released early 2020, this particular batch number 13 is 8 years old. Non-chillfiltered, naturally coloured and bottled at a cask strength of 64.2%.

Tasting Notes

NOSE
Loads of dark cherries, followed by honey.

PALATE
Flavours of cream caramel mocha followed by cherries, giving it a full-bodied mouthfeel.

FINISH
A long finish of toasted oak, dark chocolate, and cinnamon.
