Kilkerran 8 Year Old Cask Strength Batch 10

This is the 2023 limited release, cask strength version of Kilkerran, a peated single malt from the Glengyle distillery in Campbeltown, which is owned and operated by Springbank. Matured exclusively for 8 years in ex-Oloroso sherry casks. Non-chillfiltered, naturally coloured and bottled at a cask strength of 57.4%. 

NOSE
Smoked meats, raspberry jam, waxy peels.

PALATE
Richly smoky still, with stewed apples and fizzy strawberry laces offering balance to the savoury notes.

FINISH
Salted butter on toasted crumpets, with a hint of seaweed.
