Tasting Notes
NOSE Old polished wood and sugar syrup up front. Beeswax and fruit reveal themselves as the whisky sits in the glass, along with a touch of wood glue and sweet cinnamon.
PALATE Soft and waxy, with some black pepper, sappy wood, stewed apple, sharp granny smiths, floral hints, a lick of wood smoke and some hot spiciness.
FINISH Sharp oak softened by sweet apple, apple skin, dark chocolate and a sprinkling of hot cinnamon spice.
